Assistant CGL - TNG Youth

Description

• Part of a team that works towards building a cross-generational ministry in an intentional disciplemaking church
• New or Youth Leader (aged 15-18) who is willing to shadow and be trained by an adult/experienced CGL to:
• Shepherd - build relationships and care for CG, nurture acceptance in the community as a safe place for encouragement and edification
• Teach - facilitate discipleship discussions and encourages CG to grow in the Lord
• Lead- model for the CG what a disciple is

Criteria

• A Christian who is regularly attending Covenant EFC worship service
• Believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and final authority for all Christian faith and life
• Has a regular devotional time with God
• Preferably attending a Covenant Group (CG)
• A heart and calling to serve and disciple youths
• Willing to grow in leadership to engage and shepherd the youths and be a positive role model

Commitment

• Commitment for minimum 1 year
• Every Sunday (1.5 hours) 
• Meeting with Zone Mentor once a month (1 hour)
• CG Leadership Touchdown (for all CG leaders) quarterly
