Part of a team that works towards building a cross-generational ministry in an intentional disciplemaking church
Adult/Young Adult Leader who:
Shepherds – builds relationships and cares for young children, helps young children to relate with one another and teaches boundaries
Teaches – shares bibilical stories with young children through storytelling and creative works (e.g. arts and craft)
Leads – models for young children what a disciple is
Roles will include storytelling, leading worship, leading craft time and cleaning/disinfecting toys
Criteria
Christian who is regularly attending Covenant EFC worship service
Believes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and final authority for all Christian faith and life
Has a regular devotional time with God
Preferably attending a Covenant Group (CG)
A heart and call to serve and disciple young children
Able to relate with young children and possess good moral standing
Positive attitude towards learning and receiving correction.
Team-player
Confident in relating with young children individually and as a group. Good to have some experience in leading children, or willing to develop skills in this area.
Commitment
Commitment for minimum 1 year
Serve twice a month at any one of the Sunday services
Attends DMK meetings at regular intervals
Attends centre/corporate leadership meetings or events ( e.g. GOM, Leaders' Touchdown )
